Discover the site where General George Washington crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776 and turned the tide of the Revolutionary War. The park offers guided tours of several historic buildings, including an 18th-century inn and tavern, Thompson-Neely House, Thompson-Neely Grist Mill, Bowman's Hill Tower, Durham Boat House, Taylorsville Store, Hibbs House, Frye House, Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, and the Soldier's Graves. Reflect during the annual Christmas Day reenactment event with commemorative activities, speeches, and uniformed troops that cross the Delaware.   • Do I need to make reservations for a tour at Washington Crossing Historic Park?

     If you are planning to take a guided tour of the Washington Crossing Historic Park, reservations are not necessary. Just make sure you go during tour hours and on days they are open. The Park offers several guided tours, and each take about an hour. The grounds are open from dawn to dusk for free self-guided tours. Group tours of 15 or more are given by appointment only.
    • Historic Village Tours - Guided tours are $6 per person. Offered 7 days a week at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
    • Thompson-Neely House Tours - Guided tours are $6 per person. Offered 7 days a week from 10 AM – 4 PM
    • Bowman's Hill Tower - Tickets to climb to the top of the tower are $6 per person. Open 7 days a week from 10 AM – 4 PM.
  • Where is the best place to park at Washington Crossing Historic Park?

    There is plenty of parking available at the Visitor's Center at Washington Crossing Historic Park. Located in the middle of the park, the parking lot is accessible to all activities, programs and historic sites. Once you park, the Visitor’s Center offers great information, historic exhibits, educational program,  tours, and a  museum shop. A 248-seat auditorium hosts movies, concerts, speakers and community gatherings. Check ou the replica of Emanuel Leutze’s painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River. The Visitor's Center is also where you can purchase tour tickets.
